  • Our staff is highly experienced and credentialed - most of the staff are either Certified Pool/Spa Operators (National Swimming Pool Foundation), Certified Service Technicians (Association of Pool & Spa Professionals), or both.  Penguin Pools is a member of the Northeast Spa & Pool Association as well as the Long Island Pool & Spa Association.

  • Our facilities in East Hampton and Hampton Bays give us a faster response time than other operators located well outside the East End region.  Many of those operators will not respond to emergency service calls over the weekend for this reason.  

  • As we are not distracted with running a pool construction business or a retail store alongside our service division, we can focus 100% on pool care & maintenance.

  • Lastly, our employees are highly motivated to do great work because they are partly compensated on specific customer satisfaction criteria.

Penguin Pools is solely owned by Jeff Kampner, a resident of East Hampton.  Formerly a Wall Street analyst & portfolio manager, Jeff came to Penguin Pools in 2009 to strengthen the company's service offerings, reputation for excellence, and overall management.  He is personally involved in overseeing all aspects of pool service and client communication.
